• Class Description

    This course develops the knowledge and skills necessary for recognizing and caring for emergency situations, including CPR, prevention of disease transmission, and automated external defibrillation. Designed for first responders in an emergency. Successful completion of the skills test with an 80% or better qualifies students for the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) First Responder certificate and an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certificate. This will be offered in the evening both Fall and Spring semester. College credits available.
