GetSet (Girls Exploring Technology, Science and Engineering Together)
GetSet (Girls Exploring Technology, Science and Engineering Together), is an extracurricular enrichment program for Tri-Valley high school girls with interests in math, science, technology and engineering. Through field trips, hands-on workshops, and networking events, GetSet is designed to encourage the exploration of a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) related careers and to demonstrate the link between current classes and future career paths.
For additional information contact Danielle Watson, Program Director, at the Granada High School Career Center, or the College and Career Specialist at the career center on your high school campus.

How to Register for GetSet
GetSet registration is open every September - October and students must register each school year. Students must complete an online registration through their home high school. As long as a student completes the online registration by the deadline, they may participate in GetSet for that school year. Students may be as active in GetSet as they would like. There are no mandatory meetings and all events are optional so students may choose to attend the events that are of interest to them and that fit in with their schedules. Hands-on workshops are held on Tuesdays-Thursdays, in the evening and field trips are held during the school day so students will miss class if they choose to attend a field trip. Spaces are limited for each event so students must check communications from the College & Career Specialist at their home high school for information about upcoming events and event sign ups.
