March 29, 2023, 5:00pm - 7:00pm - Forensics at Amador Valley High School
When we think of forensics and crime scenes, what comes to mind? The show CSI? Bones? Forensic Files? When a crime occurs, a detective is there to investigate. But who interprets the puzzle of shell casings, hair, blood, and fingerprints at a scene? This is the job of the crime scene investigator/forensic technician.
In the "Forensic Science/Crime Scene Investigation" workshop, we'll be dissecting the differing types of scenarios that you, as a CSI/Forensic technician, will encounter in the field. This will range from fingerprinting, bullet analysis, blood spatter analysis, sketching of a crime scene, and more! If you enjoy putting puzzles together and never the same day twice, then this is the field for you! Come check out what you'd working in the field of forensic science!
